Dr. Carly Cassleman is a native to the Grosse Pointe area so naturally it was her desire to open her practice and settle down with her husband, Sean in the neighborhood in which she was raised. She took an interest in dentistry because she enjoyed her appointments with her family dentist and even worked in his office to gain experience and test the waters. Her curiosity in dentistry soon turned into a passion, and after attending the University of Michigan, her desire to serve patients launched her to pursue her calling in dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy earning her a Doctor of Dental Science Degree. She then completed a residency in General Practice at the Ann Arbor Veterans' Health Administration.
Now that she has her own practice in St. Clair Shores, Dr. Cassleman is excited to offer patients a modern, fresh approach to dentistry. Jennifer was born and raised in Metro Detroit and took an interest in dentistry in high school while her mom worked for their family orthodontist. She now has over 19 years of experience in the field. Jennifer’s dedication to continuing education has given her a strong clinical background and great communication skills which she uses to build strong relationships with her patients. Her hope is to be able to make all of her patients comfortable and confident. She is X-ray and CPR-certified and handles everything from billing and insurance to assisting Dr. Cassleman chairside when needed. Jennifer is a caring mother of four and wife to her husband, Jason. In her downtime, she can be found cooking, gardening, and camping with her family and friends.

Shauna is new to the dental field; she graduated in May 2020 from Mott Community College with an Associates in Applied Science and shortly after joined the St. Clair Tooth Co. team in December of 2020. Shauna grew up in Madison Heights and now lives closer to work and the water. Shauna does her absolute best in helping her patients improve their oral and overall health, educating each patient, and creating a positive dental experience from start to finish. Shauna continues to learn and grow to provide her patients with the latest and greatest research for the best possible care. Jessica is originally from Arlington Texas, though she has spent the majority of her life in Macomb, Michigan. Jessica attended Dorsey to become a Dental Assistant in 2013. Jessica first specialized in Orthodontics, and has made the move to General Dentistry and has grown passionate towards this field ever since. Jessica empathizes with patients and wants to make them feel as comfortable as possible. In her free time, Jessica has tons of hobbies; singing, rock, tumbling, kayaking, and all traveling/outdoor adventures with her husband and three dogs.

Allyssa was born and raised in Warren, MI. She has been in the dental field since 2015, calling St. Clair Tooth Co. her home in August 2022. Allyssa’s favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and their families. She finds it rewarding to help patients understand anything from the financial aspect of care to what to expect during appointments. She has a passion for anything beauty, especially hair and makeup. When she is home, she enjoys spending time with her husband William and their son and daughter.

Michelle Barill is on our hygiene team. She is originally from Troy, MI, and graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor’s in Applied Science in 2010, which is where she met her husband, Brian. For the past decade, she’s been calling Grosse Pointe Woods home. She’s a self proclaimed foodie, traveler, nature enthusiast, and DIY’er. Whether she’s exploring new trails with her dog, Winston, refining her culinary skills, or tending to her vegetable garden, she’s always up for an adventure! Michelle isn’t just about teeth – she’s all about the people behind them. With a passion for dental hygiene that dates back to her high school days, she treats every patient like family, giving each smile the TLC it deserves.
