How it Works

The Veneer Placement Process

The veneer placement process usually takes only two appointments. At your first appointment, your mouth will be numbed and a very thin layer of enamel will be removed from each tooth that will be receiving a veneer. This is done to ensure a seamless fit. Once this process is complete, dental impressions will be taken of your teeth and sent to a dental lab where your veneers will be created. You’ll leave our office wearing a set of temporary veneers in the meantime.

When your permanent veneers have arrived at our St. Clair Shores office, you’ll come in for a follow-up appointment. Your mouth will be cleaned, and cosmetic dentist Dr. Cassleman will check each veneer to make sure it fits properly. Then, they will be bonded permanently into place, and polished to match your teeth.
